A: We use specially designed high-discharge-rate (High-C) lithium-ion cells, often in a multi-cell series configuration (e.g., 3S, 4S, 5S), combined with a robust BMS that can handle extremely high continuous and peak currents.
A: We design our packs for extreme durability. This includes using impact-resistant materials for the housing, internal shock-absorbing structures, and strong ultrasonic welding or fastening techniques. We validate our designs through rigorous drop testing.
A: Due to the custom engineering, tooling for the housing, and certifications, our MOQ for a new tool or instrument battery typically starts at 50,000 to 100,000 units.
A: Our professional tool batteries are designed for a long and demanding service life, typically specified to retain high capacity after 500-800+ charge cycles.
A: Yes. As an OEM/ODM partner, we can design the battery pack’s communication protocol, contacts, and mechanical interface to be fully compatible with your existing product ecosystem.
A: Given the complexity of the custom housing and high-power BMS, the lead time for the first batch of functional prototypes is typically 7-9 weeks.
A: We use cells with very low internal resistance (IR) to minimize heat generation. The BMS also includes multiple temperature sensors for active thermal monitoring and protection.
A: Yes, this is a common requirement. We can often create a “family” of battery packs with different capacities that share the same physical housing and connector by using different cells or configurations internally.
A: Absolutely. We manage the entire certification process to ensure your battery pack meets all required standards for your target markets, including CE, UL 2054, IEC 62133, and UN38.3.
A: Please provide your tool’s voltage, required capacity (Ah) or runtime, continuous and peak current draw (Amps), dimensional constraints for the pack, and your estimated annual volume.
